I am so happy to announce my FIRST front cover on a magazine. What other magazine could I wish for to showcase my work and style, Wedding Ideas Magazine.
It was such an amazing feeling buying this magazine, as I've always wanted to style hair for a reputable wedding magazine. Never did I think I would be able to achieve it! Anything is possible.
The hairstyle I chosen for this was the winning hairstyle from the Competition 'Welsh Championships'. I created this tousled chunky braid, which I swept to the side, to enhance that romantic style. Joanna has amazing hair for this.
I started by using @wellahairuk 'Perfect Setting' to help prep the hair. Lightly spraying and brushing through with my @tangleteezer brush to give an even distribution of product, and rough dry into the hair with my babyliss hairdryer. To add texture and structure to the hair.
Next I started taking small section's of hair, curling alternate directions, using my babyliss curling tongs to add more movement through the hair, mainly through the top section to give that textured look. I then start by braiding the hair into a loose plait, teasing sections of hair out to create a full affect. Once I get to the end of the hair, I start to pull the braid to the left shoulder and soften hair around the face to finish the look off.
Using @wellahairuk hairspray to finish the look.
More photos of this hairstyle are on my instagram.
